Director of Business Strategy and Development

As Director of Business Strategy & Development, Stephanie has the mandate of identifying and leading the acquisition and implementation of new business opportunities to support the realization of Pennecon Services & Maintenance (PTS/PHS/TPS) business plan. Work to ensure integrated opportunity screening and pursuit strategy that maximizes the likelihood for opportunity realization. Once new opportunities are secured, I am responsible to work with the teams to support operational readiness to execute in a manner that achieves the envisioned business objectives. This position assumes responsibility for PSMM-wide marketing plan with the objective of increasing brand awareness and relevancy across Canada. The role includes Business Plan Stewardship, Operational Budget Planning, Creating External Marketing Strategies, Business Development, Opportunity Capture, Client Relationship Management, Intercompany Joint Pursuits, Creating Synergies, Building OEM relationships, Risk Management, and Operational Reporting.

Stephanie holds a Professional Engineering Technologist designation (P.Tech.), Business certification and graduated from Edinburgh’s Business School – Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program with distinction status.

She is a Director with Energy NL, Volunteer with Rotary St. John’s East serving as Foundation Treasurer and Chair of the Community group, is a volunteer with Women in Resource and Development (WRDC) and holds a position as an Ambassador with the St. John’s Board of Trade and also a committee member for their Member Value group.
