General Manager, Hydraulic Systems
Eddy began with Pennecon Energy Hydraulic Systems (formerly Hydraulic Systems Limited) in 1997, after having been the Superintendent for the Joint Venture Pre-commissioning / Commissioning project for Hydraulic Systems Limited / Norson Services Limited for the Hibernia Project. He opened the office in Newfoundland at the beginning of that year as Operations Manager, progressing to become General Manager of the company. Eddy was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and graduated from Belfast High School in 1973, attained mechanical engineering and aircraft engineering certification in the Royal Air Force.
Eddy’s professional career has consisted of long term positions. Trade Desk Supervisor, Royal Air Force from 1973 to 1982, first and second line aircraft maintenance. Owner Hometune Franchise Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh from 1982 to 1989. Senior Site Engineer Superintendent, Norson Services Aberdeen from 1989 to 1997 working worldwide in Oil and Gas Project Management.
