Octagon Development has just been awarded Master Builder certification by the Canadian Home Builders Association, Newfoundland and Labrador. The Master Builder program is appointed to builders who observe and put into practice the high standards of professionalism required under the program, and is granted to builders who are distinguished in the field demonstrating credible experience and professionalism.
“Our team at Octagon Development has worked together to achieve this designation, knowing it would benefit our clients and employees equally”, said Al Spurrell, Residential Construction Manager. “We are proud of the work we do and this designation recognizes our dedication to higher building standards in the industry.”
To achieve Master Builder status, a builder has to meet requirements set out by CHBA-NL completing courses outlined and undertake continuing education for employees so they maintain a professional level of knowledge of current building codes, permit procedures, and technical skills.
