Pennecon Industrial was awarded the contract to perform the electrical and instrumentation installation of equipment into the City of St. John’s Petty Harbor / Long Pond water treatment plant. This facility is part of the water supply system for the larger municipalities on the Avalon Peninsula.
The Electrical work scope included, but not limited to; installation of LV & MV distribution equipment; installation of AC & DC equipment; installation of control and protection panels; installation; installation and connection of primary 25kV:600V , Transformers; installation of Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS); installation of backup generator ; installation of duct banks; installation or cable tray can conduit , cable pulls and cable terminations; building electrical outfitting which includes distribution panels, normal lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm, building security, closed circuit televisions (CCTV), receptacles, and heat.
