Dean Dearing came to Pennecon in 2012 in the capacity of General Manager of Pennecon Energy’s industrial mechanical construction division, M & M Engineering Limited. In 2013 the role was expanded to include the industrial electrical construction division, Pennecon Energy Industrial Services. Dean is committed to the growth of Pennecon Energy’s Construction division with a focus on its employees, safety, attention to quality, and productivity.
Prior to Pennecon, Dean spent 14+ years at Newfoundland’s only oil refinery, North Atlantic Refining Limited. While at the refinery Dean held several management positions including Senior Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Turnaround Manager.
Dean graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1996 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a Professional Engineer.
