This was the first of three consecutive annual projects awarded by Subsea 7 to the marine base. The project was unique as a 2,600 tonne crane was mobilized from India to meet the client’s requirements. This crane was the largest ever to be used at the marine base. Services offered in the project scope were 24-hour activity support; cargo marshalling; supply of equipment and personnel; along with warehousing and office facilities.
