Deidre Puddister, M.Sc.

Environmental Manager

Deidre has 16 years’ experience working in the environmental industry, the last 9 of which have been focused on the construction industry. Deidre began her career at Pennecon in 2009 and currently holds the position of Environmental Manager. Deidre is responsible for ensuring environmental considerations are incorporated into project planning and execution, as well as the monitoring, assessment, and permitting of projects. Prior to joining the construction industry in 2009, Deidre worked as an environmental consultant, focusing on projects for the mining and oil and gas industry in Canada, as well as Indonesia, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, and Cameroon. Deidre holds a Master’s Degree in Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland, as well as certificates from International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) (Foundations in Effective Public Participation), Dale Carnegie, and Think on Your Feet. Deidre has been actively involved in the Newfoundland Environmental Industry Association (NEIA) for many years, and has served as both a Director and Chair of the NEIA Board.
