The Hibernia Offshore Loading System (OLS) allows crude that is stored on the Hibernia platform to be transferred to shuttle tankers. It consists of subsea flowlines, a subsurface buoy, and flexible loading hoses. During its replacement project, the Pennecon marine base was the onshore supply/mobilization base for the project’s vessel operations.
