Students/Apprentices

Building relationships with young professionals early in their careers is an important part of our long-term business success.

Along with our partners, Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador (MUN) and other post-secondary colleges, we provide students and apprentices with hands-on work experience to complement their education and training.

It’s easy to get involved with us. We regularly provide job postings for work terms and placements, and we encourage students and apprentices to apply through their school. Interviews are arranged by the school coordinator before we make a final selection. We hire students and apprentices from the following programs:

  • MUN Co-op Work Terms — Engineering and Business
  • College of the North Atlantic — Engineering Technologist, Geomatics, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Technology, Business Administration, Office Administration, Information Systems and Industrial Trades
  • Keyin College — Business Management, Office Administration, Occupational Health and Safety and Industrial Trades
  • Academy Canada — Office Administration, Occupational Health and Safety and Industrial Trades

If your program isn’t listed above and you believe there is an opportunity for you to work with us, you can always contact us: penneconlimited@pennecon.com.
